The short version: the calculators run entirely in your browser. We never see your salary.

What we collect

Nothing about your pay. Salary figures you type into a calculator are processed in your own browser and are never sent to our servers, stored, or shared. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no profiles.

We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand which pages are visited. It runs only if you accept cookies in the banner — if you reject, no analytics cookies are set and no visit data is sent. Analytics never receives your salary, your name, or any other personal detail. See the cookie policy for exactly what is stored and how to change your choice.

Advertising

This site may show display advertising in future (Google AdSense). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. The site currently serves no ads; this section will be updated before any advertising goes live.

Contact

If you contact us, we keep your message only as long as needed to answer it. We never sell or share contact details.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to its use. Because the calculators store nothing about you, in practice the only personal data we could hold is a message you sent us — write to hola@takehomewise.co.uk and it will be deleted on request. Changes

If this policy changes — for example when advertising or analytics is switched on — the change is noted here and in the changelog. The site's terms cover the figures themselves.
